Peer mentor scheme

This voluntary scheme at MFT provides near-peer mentorship where willing FY2s mentor FY1 mentees.

FY1s benefit from the guidance and experience of their mentors, who themselves gain skills in mentorship and can help the FY1s to focus on and realise their goals. Read here for the background to the peer mentor scheme which is one of the recommendations of the Postgraduate Medical Foundation Programme Review.
